as i mentioned recently, i have started a new job, primarily based at home. it's given me more time to focus on home life, but also on work which i really love. i consider myself very lucky in this regard. so in case you were wondering what it is i do exactly, i'll tell you a little bit about it.i am a technical designer, which means i deal a lot with fittings, samples & specs. after the designer creates the collection and sources the fabrics and notions, i am responsible for getting the fit just right. i make any necessary changes of measurements, small adjustments on patterns, and ensure the grading is correct. i go back and forth with the sample makers overseas to ensure the final garment fits well and falls within the company standards.
i've done other things in the industry, but right now, this is what i do. what do you do?
